Bunny Curiousity

I’ve been really busy the past few months, trying to actually use some of my stash. Years ago, I was on a kick of collecting all the cigar boxes to use to fill with 3-D mixed media scenes. At the time I did make a few Christmas scenes, but I quickly turned my attention to something else.

I’ve had the boxes kicking around forever, so I took some of my Character Creation Rubber Stamps by Catherine Moore, some Easter decor, four vintage thread wooden spools, some Graphic 45 paper and some fuzzy ball trim.

I love how it came out.

My bunny display. Top was a rabbit head on a stick I found at Hobby Lobby. I cut the rod off and glued in place.
All the walls, inside and outside of the box, were covered in Graphic45 paper.

Cabinet and bunny stamped in card stock and colored in. The cabinet was stamped a few times and the drawers were cut separately and foam tape used to glue them down to add dimension.
Trim glued down as well as the spools. Chicks, carrot, eggs, nest and colored pick all glued down as well.

Close up of the chickens harassing the bunny for food (or something).

The set of drawers is from the Bee Keepers Tea collection. Bunny is from Bird and Bee Collection.
